Designing for an aware, informed, collaborative, inclusive, empathetic, peaceful, ethical, equitable, innovative, transparent, sustainable, proactive, impactful, flexible, adaptive, empowering, connected, facilitatory, creative holistic, responsive, accountable, intuitive, and transformative decision.
After deriving sense out of the ambiguity of biases and decisions, we could synthesize leverage points to facilitate through design. We came up with 5 different outputs.
Crisis Game
aware, collaborative, peaceful, facilitatory, creative, transformative, impactful, responsive, transparent
What could be a more effective conversation starter and provoke discussions about issues we often overlook or avoid in everyday life—issues that remain unresolved—than a board game?
One of the points of intervention we came across was inclusivity in decision making, specifically stakeholders like policy makers where the decisions are made for a larger public good- without considering the people impacted.
Crisis is a board game, where each player takes on the role of a key stakeholder in city planning. Initially, players compete individually for victory, but they soon realize that collaboration and inclusivity are crucial for success.
As players act too independently, the board restricts their progress, highlighting the need for foresight and collective decision-making. Serving as both a provocation game and a simulation of real-world urban challenges, Crisis encourages meaningful dialogue about the world and makes them think from a systemic point of view, teaching players the importance of working together for sustainable solutions.

People frequently seek the help of relationship experts only when conflicts have intensified or when significant stakes are involved. Additionally, access to counseling is often limited to a small portion of the population. In response to this, we developed "Us" cards, designed to assist young adults in resolving conflicts within romantic relationships.
Using a participatory design approach, we collaborated with therapists who possess expertise in the field to gain valuable insights into our ideas. Our card set includes Situation, Play, and Nudge Cards. This initiative is built around four essential pillars of a relationship: Awareness, Empathy, Collaboration, and Acceptance.
We recognize that every relationship is unique, and the exercises we created may not resolve every conflict. However, these cards aim to help individuals better understand their issues and develop strategies tailored to their specific relationship dynamics.

The "Us" app serves as a complementary platform to the cards, creating a comprehensive ecosystem for users. It provides a confidential and stigma-free environment for accessing counseling and resources that promote healthy relationship habits and conflict resolution. Additionally, it features a therapist-validated personality test to enhance understanding of relationships and connects users with relationship counselors when needed.
Red Pill, Blue Pill - Workshopcollaborative, facilitatory, connected, creative, aware
In group decision-making, dominant voices often drown out quieter participants, causing valuable insights from introverts or less confident individuals to go unheard, which can hinder the group's overall effectiveness. To address this, we developed a workshop for students focusing on the importance of inclusivity in group settings. Participants will create their own innovative tools to foster inclusive decision-making, which can be refined and applied in various contexts, including professional environments, to enhance collaboration among diverse stakeholders.

‘How do we do what we do’ is the entire topic of decision-making in a nutshell, further simplified through language and vibrant visuals, mostly catered to the general audience to spark more curiosity towards the topic and encourage them to find out more about the same. The video takes a simple daily life example and through it explains what biases and the processes go behind making a decision and at the same time offers a framework to help with more complex, high stake decisions.
